Members smalliestug Posted May 11, 2011 Members Posted May 11, 2011 Where is a good place to find estimates of rainfall? Thanks NWS on the radar page you can click on 1hour or total storm predictions.
Wayne SW/MO Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 I suppose it depends on where and when, but the river gauges give rainfall at their locations. Rainfall varies so much it is hard to pin down for any one location. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
flytyer57 Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 I got the NWS set as my homepage so it's the first thing I check out after I read my email. If you click on the 3day history, they give the rainfall amounts. There's a fine line between fishing and sitting there looking stupid.
Don Allenbaugh Posted May 11, 2011 Posted May 11, 2011 You can see the current weather information on the White River just above Rim Shoals by accessing my weather station. It gives current conditions and if you click on the summary you will get additional information. If you click on the map you can zoom in and see the exact location of my station (you can also click on satellite to see a picture). In addition there is a station in cotter that you can click on the map for current info at Cotter. http://www.weatherlink.com/user/donallen1/ Don A
