OKFlyFisher44 Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 Does anyone know of an outfitter who services Indian Creek? I would to have them shuttle my truck from Lanagan to Mt. Shira if that was possible. I can't find one searching the Internet. The creek is at 380cfs or so, sitting at just over 2.6 ft on the gauge. Is this kinda high, normal, or slightly low? I fished the creek several times last summer but only floated it once but my buddies dad shuttled us. Any help would be appreciated... OzarksRiverman Posted May 12, 2011 Posted May 12, 2011 I'd recommend Hog Heaven in Pineville. Get ahold of Russ and I think he'd be able to take care of it.

chub minnow Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Indian is on the high side of normal right now. Those levels are ideal for floating, but will make fishing on the fly a challenge.
ollie Posted May 14, 2011 Posted May 14, 2011 Chub is right, the level is still a little on the high side, but if no rain happens before next week it should be good. I personally like to fish it between 150-200 cfs. Just enough you don't have to get out at every riffle and still a good level to catch fish. Russ at Hog Heaven is who I would call for latest river levels and he has probably floated that section already so he would know if there were any down trees in your way.
