Stationed at Ft. Wood. Was introduced to Walleye at Saginaw bay while on leave with a buddy. Originally from Maine (Brookie man). Lookin for some help on what to throw at em' Gonna be a run, mileage & time wise so need to maximize fishin time....... Fishin Saginaw it was all trolling Hot'n tots & worm rigs. What's the standard for walleyes at Pomme?

Thanks in advance for any advice.

I wish I knew! My understanding is crankbaits and nightcrawlers. Haven't heard of many people focusing on walleye at Pomme, would like to know more.

Brad

Have your visited Limitville lately?

I am no walleye expert by any means but would suggest Lake Stockton as a much better walleye fishery, and it wouldn't be much farther to run.

Stockton walleye are much easier to find than the ones at Pom.

I mostly bass fish up at Stockton, but everyone seems to be catching Walleye like crazy at Stockton right now. You will have a hard time catching Walleye at Pomme. Let me know how ya do.

There's a fine line between fishing and just standing on the shore like an idiot.

If your going after Walleye on Pomme, yea crankbaits and bottom bouncers. Try both at Martin flats.
