Members Fishinokie1 Posted May 28, 2011 Members Posted May 28, 2011 I love watching my five year old son pull in fish, it is so funny but he gets it done he gets them in, but he does all this grunting and stuff. But he gets so excited and he starts laughing when he see's it break the surface, and then he starts talking to the fish when it is close, I cant wait until this weekend and a good size cat gets on his pole and It really makes him have to grunt and strain, he has'nt caught a bigger one yet he has caught small ones out of a pond. Daughter is 9 she is a pro... smokes dad some times. She is good and smooth and does'nt say a word Stealth like. Sorry guys just another PROUD dad. Huck Don't need to appologize on being a proud father! I have 4 girls under the age of 8. Yup, gonna buy stock in a toilet paper company. Took my 8 year old fishing for a couple of hours Thusday over at the docks at Springfield lake. Cold, windy and muddy made for a short trip. She did catch her first catfish. I could go the rest of my life and never catch another fish just so I could watch my kids get that excited look on their face every time their bobber goes under. It makes a dad feel good when you ask your daughter what she wants to do after her last day of school an she says.....GO FISHING DAD! If you teach your kids to fish, your wife will let you go more often.....
