If i am reading the chart right beaver lake is lower now than it was on Sunday. I am going to try it tonight and will give a report on how I do.

Went last night out of Lost bridge south. Really muddy, found some clearer water back in a cove up by point 5. Had one 19 inch walleye, and 5 blow ups/boils on a red fin fishing for striper. No hook ups on Stripers and did not see any top water action. Had one pig hit it about 10 ft from the boat, gave all three of us a good scare. I love when they are just busting on top, but when u blind cast 100 times and then on that 101 cast get a 20# plus fish hit it right at the boat, it is hard to beat.

We were up by the dam a couple of weeks ago bass fishing and had a striper drive by, started chasing shad near the boat, jeb tossed a topwater at them and had a couple of boils but no hook up, then as quickly as they appeared, they were gone. With all the flooded timber out there now, landing a 20 lb fish is going to be a challenge. But it's a fun challenge :)

Fished the weekend out of Lost Bridge South. Had one good blow up on a mirro Saturday morning, but didn't work at it too hard since we we trolling mostly. Caught four trolling the mornings with the kids so we didn't fish must past 8 or 8:30. Lost Bridge South was very muddy Sunday with the south wind but had cleared some today. Good weekend for the kids though.

Just curious 3outfishing, were you trolling with boat motor or trolling motor? Were you using live bait or artificial? I am thinking about coming up this weekend from Ok. If a person was going to make the trip and only have Friday evening and Saturday to fish for stripers, would you guys recommend coming up now or waiting a few weeks until the water clears and goes down some? Thanks.

We were trolling with the trolling motor. Mostly using live bait(shad). We threw some topwater artificial baits. Only one took a chance at a topwater. W e were fishing out in front of the main mudline. Water was still murkey but clearer. In my opinion fishing should be good this weekend and the water will be up for some time. All the fish we caught had empty bellies. They should be hungry as were the ones we caught.

Turns out I am not going to be able to make it this weekend. Looks like it is going to be a couple of weeks yet. Thanks for the info though.

Does anyone know what the water temps are right now? With the hot forecast, I wonder what they will be in a couple of weeks? Thanks.

Water temps in the mid-lake area were 77-78 this morning. Seem to be rising fast with the hot weather. Water is just starting to clear a little. Can see down a little over a foot in some areas now. Doesn't sound like much, but it's an improvement!
