Gang,

I haven't seen anyone respond so I'll step in.

I do not believe you can use ANY part of a Heron to tie flies. :excl:

Being a Federally protected bird means you cannot possess

Blue Heron parts. And we all know parts is parts!

Same as owls, eagles, etc.

So, get you a good Blue Heron substitute

for those spey flies and soft hackles.
