tippet7 Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 what were you using? why do you think the water is so cloudy? You are so stupid you threw a rock at the ground and missed.
Jack Jones Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Loved the video. I especially liked the over the shoulder shots. Gives me a good idea of what I would see if I was actually successful Also a good way to observe your technique. Thanks. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted June 22, 2011 Author Root Admin Posted June 22, 2011 Thanks. Using stimulators #6's and sofa pillow #4's. Not sure if it makes a big difference at this point. They are looking up for cicadas which are pretty much gone now. Water is murky from the flood. Table Rock's surface is pretty clear but I guess it's not down deep. This is how it was in '08.
dgames Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 What were they hitting? I really liked the way you filmed this. This was better than most fishing shows because you can see the fly and the fish take. I hate it when you watch a fishing show and they make most of the footage a front shot of the person fishing and you have no idea what is actually going on in the water. This is much better. Good job.
Jeremy Hunt Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Yep, the cicadas are all about gone, but Phil is right, they are still looking up and will continue to for another few months eating all types of dries. Here's a brown we caught today fishing cicada patterns. Accept the drift.....<>>><flysandguides.comVisit my blog
back2roots Posted June 22, 2011 Posted June 22, 2011 Very nice video work! The audio is pretty good as well. I really liked the "over-the-shoulder" views as well. Gives a pretty good perspective from your point of view AND seeing the take is a SUPER help. Too many others do not do that. GOOD STUFF!!! Thank you! Bill If you liked the sound....Thank the engineer!

Practicing our videography. Great piece of photography. I was able to see the fly and the hit. Also great job of keeping out of the overhangs and getting the fly right into the bank with a good drift under the cover. Thanks for the great video. Thom Harvengt
