Wondering if all the sand/silt from say rockaway to powersite has moved.. i'm sure it has some... I went one hot afternoon last summer targeting bass, and managed to catch a few small ones in some warm coves. Some interesting structure, but a lot of sand and weeds covered everything down there.

I've been meaning to spend a day between Rockaway and Empire Park, just haven't found the time yet. For one thing, they hadn't replaced the splash boards last time I checked... a guy could get his boat stuck if they shut off the water in Branson while you were out. back2roots Posted July 11, 2011 Posted July 11, 2011 Nope...the boards were still gone this past weekend so the level all over Taney is still lower than you remember. Did a bit of dock fishing at Empire but not for very long. The bite was slow on powerbait but they fought strong. Saw a lot of boats out at the cable and a fair number of folks out on pontoon's....so something must've been biting out deeper. If you liked the sound....Thank the engineer!
