flyrodman
I picked up a TFO signature series rod at bass pro today, it casts very good and is now a rival to my Redington Red Fly 2. I have not taken it to the river yet but it will be broken in at roaring river on monday and tuesday. I really like the green color of the blanks but I wish it came in a 4 piece model because it is an 8'6 5wt which is still pretty long broken down in 2 pieces. Other than that, I think that this is one of the best rods you can get for the price. Luke Walz
troutbum479
Tfo rods are the best rod for the money. They also have an awesome warranty. arkmoflyfishing.blogspot.com http://okietroutbum.blogspot.com/
FlyFishinFool
The Signature series rods only come in 2-pieces. If you want a 4-piece TFO you have to go up to the Professional series rod, which is also a litle faster rod than the Signature. I have both and enjoy fishing them. And I agree with troutbum's comment, TFO has a great warranty - replacement usually only takes a week including shipping. * ´¯`•.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸ ><((((((º> `•.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸ ><((((º> .¸¸.•´¯`•.¸ ><((((((º> I look in my fly box and think about what should guide my choice of the best fly: the amount/angle of sun on the water, the water temp & clarity, what bugs are hatching, what the fish might be eating, and what worked last time. Then I remember what an old man told me... " Ninety percent of what a trout eats is brown, fuzzy, about 1/2 inch long and underwater."
