flyrodman Posted July 10, 2011 Posted July 10, 2011 I picked up a TFO signature series rod at bass pro today, it casts very good and is now a rival to my Redington Red Fly 2. I have not taken it to the river yet but it will be broken in at roaring river on monday and tuesday. I really like the green color of the blanks but I wish it came in a 4 piece model because it is an 8'6 5wt which is still pretty long broken down in 2 pieces. Other than that, I think that this is one of the best rods you can get for the price. Luke Walz

If you want a 4-piece TFO you have to go up to the Professional series rod, which is also a litle faster rod than the Signature. I have both and enjoy fishing them.
