powerdive Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Yep, started with a Reef Runner 800 on a flatline on one side. No action on it, or on the Deep Thunderstick I tried next, so I downsized and stuck with leadcore.
Martin Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Great info !! Now if you could just talk Mother Nature into cooling the air temps back into the mid 80's........lol
Hunter91 Posted July 18, 2011 Posted July 18, 2011 Nice PD! Lakebumb and I used to troll that area and catch a few. Looking forward to getting my boat out of the shop and get back to it.
Tfsh4bass Posted July 19, 2011 Posted July 19, 2011 A little surprised by the results from the Joe Bass tournament on Sunday...2 bags over 20 and 19 was 3rd. I didn't see if it fell off the planet after that but that is pretty good anytime of year but especially now with this heat. I usually play on the rivers in the area this time of year but will make a trip down on Thurs just to see if I am missing something.
Donna G Posted July 28, 2011 Posted July 28, 2011 Well.... you must be the Sissy cause I KNOW Donna would be a fishing!!! Love to ya both!!! Well, he is a sissy, but I was feeling a little girlie myself teeing off this past Sunday afternoon at 105 degrees. At least we can drive the golf cart around in circles when we're looking for Champ's errant drives. Donna Gilzow Bella Vista, Arkansas The charm of fishing is that it is the pursuit of what is elusive but attainable, a perpetual series of occasions for hope. --John Buchan, 1915
