I snuck out early and came in before noon. In between:

I fished my top water for almost an hour. I had one fish on for maybe 10 seconds.

I saw the thermocline is really getting more solid at 25 feet.

I marked many bait fish at 10 to 15 feet

I trolled five locations between Holiday Island and Eagle Rock. I caught three walleye, one each at three of those locations. Two were suspended in tree tops. One was on a flat.

Storm Thundercrank with 120 feet of 10/2 braid out (about 18 feet deep) pulled between 1.8 and 2.4 mph.

I also towed a Cobalt with five or six people from near Holiday Island to the powerline flats below Fletchers.

Busy morning. Nap time.

Sort of like my Sunday, rps. I caught a nice smalllmouth off the face of the dam (left end in the rip rap) then caught a nice LM off the rock bluff left of the dam along the river channel. As I was heading for my next spot, I saw an older guy with passengers at the end of a point waving a white towel at me. He was with his son and two grandsons. Their boat wouldn't start and they were pinned on the point by the wind. I towed them back to Rock Lane and got the boys at the dock to give them a hand. By that time, I decided to put the Ranger in the slip and head for a cold drink!

You have been a little slow on the saving people this year RPS! Glad you two are out there!

Techo, are you never going to let me off the hook? I did one little bitty nice thing - really more of a supporting role - and now you expect me to be some character like Kickass.

BTW, I believe that movie deserves guilty pleasure status.

RPS, you are a good man for helping out the stranded boaters. I was in the same situation on LOZ two weekends ago and was sure thankful once I got some help.

You have no idea. He is our resident Super Hero! Saves two or three boats a year.
