Daveinozark
i am planning on fishing Springfield in the morning i was just wondering if there were any reports of what baits to use and for whats biting i will be in a boat so ill launch from under hwy65. my last outing I had success with crankbaits (believe it or not!) A wiggle wart and blue gill colored bandit did best. A chartreuse spinnerbait works well too. The water is really thick with algae from the heat so just about anything bright and flashy should do. I suggest the area over by the lake house where it transitions to river. They seem to be away from the banks
