packersooner Posted July 31, 2011 Posted July 31, 2011 Started out trolling Reef Runners Saturday morning 20-25 feet down in 30-40 feet of water around Tucker flats. Nothing except for a gar. Switched to slow death rigs as we were marking a lot of fish in the area. Caught nothing but giant bluegill. Then made a run and fished the points and flats from Bee to Bear Creeks. Dropped down into the 30-35 foot range in 35-50 feet of water with the Reef Runners. My buddy caught a walleye that went just over 26". Then decided to kick up our trolling speed into the 2.5 to 3.0 mph range (versus 2.0 mph) and caught a couple more plus a big drum. Also caught a largemouth that was right around 5 pounds. Then got chased by the storms. Hope this helps someone... Jason
