Danoinark Posted August 6, 2011 Posted August 6, 2011 Fishing was slow for me this morning but a glass rod and solitude made for a special morning on the Buffalo. Started off fishing this hopper pattern and landed this lil 13" Ozark bass on top. Things slowed a bit and started fishing deep with a clouser and then switched to a chartreuse colored bugger. It was fairly windy and I am not sure if that contributed to the slow bite. Naturally water is extremely warm. Also flows are slow but there are still plenty of deep holes that hold good bass. Fishing above and below the Hasty access. Dano Glass Has Class "from the laid back lane in the Arkansas Ozarks"

Members Fredrick Posted August 7, 2011 Members Posted August 7, 2011 I have been having a blast around branson with creek fishing. I found a honey hole packed full of little small mouth(8-14 inch) they are aggressive as all get out and on 4lb test and an ultra light its alot of fun!!! Wish I had more time off and this heat sucks the life out of you. I am suprised with the drag set at 1Lb how some of these little guys can make the pole bend and the reel scream good times!!! jagermeister anyone?

Wayne SW/MO Posted August 7, 2011 Posted August 7, 2011 How do you like that glass? I fished with one Wednesday, first time in decades. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
