ryan Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 Is gigging allowed on taney during season, I read in a reply that someone had caught a bunch of suckers and filleted them at lilleys? I would think that conservation might be hesitant to let people gig on taney. I guess they could have caught them on night crawlers but I was just curious
Seth Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 I believe you can gig up to Fall Creek. Gigging is not allowed in the Trophy Area on Taneycomo. A person would have blast up in the trophy area gigging because the suckers up there are THICK.
Wayne SW/MO Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 They love worms, just don't know why you would mess with the bony things. Without the riverside experience, they lose some appeal, at least to me. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
rainbow Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 Dem's some good eatin lil buggers. About as good as trout if fixed right.
gonefishin Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 I wonder what would happen if a person were take his rod and reel and can of worms into the trophy area and fish for them boney rascals. I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." Benjamin Franklin, 1759
Snow Fly Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 Ah! A riot perhaps. "God gave fishermen expectancy, so they would never tire of throwing out a line"
gonefishin Posted August 17, 2006 Posted August 17, 2006 HEH HEH Probably get beat with numberous fly rods. I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." Benjamin Franklin, 1759
