Members Clintmax Posted May 3, 2012 Members Posted May 3, 2012 So he had a gun on his hip - did he actually say anything to you or you just assumed he was strapped for your benefit? There's a guy down there that always has a little .22 revolver on his hip - half the time he stops me to chat about the river. He was not wearing a gun when I went across the slab the first time and WAS wearing a gun when I came back across. I can only assume he meant to display it for me. He didn't say anything to me and I was too mad to say anything to him. I just drove on.
Members Clintmax Posted May 3, 2012 Members Posted May 3, 2012 The thing about John's Ford is that they've blocked any place you have to park. I just go down to Braden then come downstream. In my experience, if you don't show up with a case a Bud Light and loud music, you usually don't have much of a problem gaining access. I noticed that too. No possible place to park. When I was a boy, there was always a place. I'll keep that in mind next time I'm down there. Coming downstream from Braden is easy.
