Friday afternoon, caught 3 walleyes to 20" and about a dozen whites, on spoons at 54 feet. Surface temp 42 degrees. Wind was filthy--had to backtroll with the 40hp to hold the spot. Got a little wet.

The only area I've fished the close to the dam. I've trolled the dam face and caught walleye and crappie.

Would like to get back there sometime.

I was fishing midlake channel swings. Hard to find a place to fish that's out of the wind up there!

Late spring, early fall we like to jig the old coffer dam and adjacent rockpiles for walleyes.

Caught a boatload yesterday on Jigging Raps at 55 feet in the Little Sac Arm. Mostly whites (actually caught about 50 in one half-hour stretch--fun!), plus crappies and walleyes. Whites and walleyes on bottom, crappies up 6-8 feet or more, in the shad. Midlake area, in the channel. Find a big concentration of shad, and you'll find fish. Channel swings near bluffs or the tips of points seem to be best.

What colors were you using? Did you catch many Walleye? Any size to em?

I would rather be fishin'.

Sorry, GF, haven't checked back here since then. Haven't been to Stockton either. So this is a bit dated. To answer your question, though:

That day I caught 4 walleyes, only one was legal (16-17"). A buddy parked next to me pulled up a 21" eye on a white spoon. I was using #7 silver/black and perch colored Jigging Raps, also 1/2 oz. white/green HT Jiggers (about the same as a Jigging Shad Rap).
