barredrock Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Lots of people are saying the d.o. levels are very low and the fish are stressed. When does the lake usually turn over?? When do u think it may turn over this year? Are there any signs prior to the turn?

When do u think it may turn over this year? Are there any signs prior to the turn? This is a never ending issue that is asked every year. TR will turn over when the surface water reaches 39.2 degrees. Sometimes it happens twice a year, some years it never happens. As far as the do levels, the trout in the tailwater have no symtoms of being stressed as yet.
Trout Commander Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Yeah, plenty of old threads chock full of info and debate. if you are curious they would be some good reading. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. The latest Trout Commander blog post: Niangua River Six Pack
