NoLuck Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Caught this nice brown Monday the 29th. It was the first brown I caught all year.
NoLuck Posted August 31, 2011 Author Posted August 31, 2011 Here is a couple of underwater pics I took just playing with my Optio W60 Pentax.
flyfishmaster Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Great pictures No Luck. It looks like the fish were getting in line to get on your fly. Oh, I just got the word from Simms. They want you for their next poster. Later, FFM Woo Hoo Fish On!!
stlfisher Posted August 31, 2011 Posted August 31, 2011 Congrats on the brown...beautiful fish. Enjoyed the underwater shots too.
Members Bruegy Posted August 31, 2011 Members Posted August 31, 2011 nice, did you get a chance to watch those videos yet?
NoLuck Posted August 31, 2011 Author Posted August 31, 2011 Kim, Yeah Simms needs to endorse me somehow. I'd even take waders as payment. I'd take cloths too as thats pretty much all I wear when fishing. Not just Simms but, other fishing clothes. My fly isn't what those fish were lined up for. They were lined up for the shufflers. Kevin, No I have not yet watched those films. I got back yesterday around 5:30 and unloaded and cleaned up and ate and passed out. LOL, I'll get to them here shortly. Thanks a bunch. Later Fellas, Rich
brittsnbirds Posted September 1, 2011 Posted September 1, 2011 Not too bad. Looks like zone 2. I've got several pics I took Sunday down from the "blue hole" (where the new pipe is) in zone 2. Makes a differance if the sun is not shaded. Kevin, I tried both of the videos in my trailer last night on my Jensen. Only one worked I will try the other one on my MAC. Rich, what is the website for the guy and his daughter making the furled leaders?? If you have it on your phone just text me. Headed down next weekend of the 9th and again on the 16th. Wife wants some peace and quiet to do some work. Pat

Then I remember what an old man told me... " Ninety percent of what a trout eats is brown, fuzzy, about 1/2 inch long and underwater."
brittsnbirds Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 Thanks FFF, EM and Troy hooked me up. Have several on the way!! I really like the price!!
FlyFishinFool Posted September 7, 2011 Posted September 7, 2011 Thanks FFF, EM and Troy hooked me up. Have several on the way!! I really like the price!! I think you are really going to like the product also - I have been using the Simonton's furled leades for about 18 months, and performance has been outstanding! * ´¯`•.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸ ><((((((º> `•.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸¸.•´¯`•.¸ ><((((º> .¸¸.•´¯`•.¸ ><((((((º> I look in my fly box and think about what should guide my choice of the best fly: the amount/angle of sun on the water, the water temp & clarity, what bugs are hatching, what the fish might be eating, and what worked last time.
