nxs Posted September 3, 2011 Posted September 3, 2011 I've a 2000 Lund 1800 Pro-V. I've never really used the front livewell until it started heating up this summer and found that it wouldn't pump water up front. Checked and the flo-rite valve was cracked and the pump was not working. Ordered new valve and pump (new pump leaked) but still would not pump water up front, to either the livewell or baitwell. So when I got home I pulled everything and was checking hoses. The hose in the bottom of the livewell with the screen cover which I'm taking is the one for recirculating seems to have something in it. I can fill the livewell but only get a dribble of water about half the dia. of a pencil out of it. I can push water back up about the same. I run a small cable up the hose and it comes in contact with something and I can actually push a little water back up into the livewell. Is there some kind of check valve in there? Can't see why, but could sure use some help here. Thanks Gary
minnowhooker Posted September 5, 2011 Posted September 5, 2011 Google WalleyeCentral go to the top click on message board you may have to scroll off then back on click on boats then go back to the top and do a search, lots of info on Lund livewell problems good luck.
nxs Posted September 6, 2011 Author Posted September 6, 2011 I've been there but haven't found anything yet. I'm still looking. It may have to be a cold weather project and pull the floor up. Hoses look like they could be replaced anyway. Thinking it's a project I'm not going to want to do thanks
