dennis boatman Posted September 6, 2011 Posted September 6, 2011 I grabbed my felt soled waders, and headed to the Niangua this morning. Started out with a hopper/dropper, and the hopper won. Mostly small browns, with a few stocker sized rainbows thrown in for some color. First time with this set-up, and I do see some potential... A strike indicator is just a bobber...

I fished just downstream of the park and was has doing good with a Royal Coachman and dropper in the riffles Sunday evening. One small brown and a handful of stockers. I was getting a ton a "nibbles" but nothing on.
