mic Posted September 19, 2011 Posted September 19, 2011 I was looking for a compact, light, and most importantly tough travel rod for canoeing and backpacking. I rolled the dice on this rod as I bought it online. I took it out this weekend for a canoe and fishing trip. It worked like a champ and it will be used a lot. http://www.amazon.co...duct/B002Y6B8GI
Members Fredrick Posted October 24, 2011 Members Posted October 24, 2011 I am a big fan of the ulgy stiks I use the ultra light they don't break like other ultra lights I even rolled them up in the car window on accident. That rod looks like a great alternative to using ice poles while floating. I have broken the tips on my ulgy sticks. I used the wallmart $3 tip repair and I am good to go. jagermeister anyone?
