Members motexan
Got on the water early today but didn't get any bites until around 8:00, which is when I changed lures. Second cast caught a 19" L.M. On a Zara spook jr. He nailed after a short pause. Also caught some on white spinner. And a Spro frog. Water temp. is 67. Daveinozark
Where were you fishing? I was out Sat morning over by the lake house. I went towards the main body of the lake, trying deep with cranks and spinners with nothing. I went along both sides of the weedlines and still got nothing. I also tried a top water WTD plug. After a few hours I gave up. Little sign of life in that area, even a guy on the bluff side struck out. I wonder if the fish moved up river more.
