Beavers and muskrats have come so accustomed to humans ...

Honestly, on two separate occasions in the last year, I've had a muskrat swimming either right at me or right at the boat. What's their deal? Silly waterlogged rodent...

AHHHH.... there is that talk about those dang beavers again...

STOP GUY!! your giving me nightmares again...

Ive had beavers swim within a foot of me..

Ive had them so close that they smack the their tail on the water and soak me...

I had one that I tapped on the head with my fly rod...

I saw one swimming out in the water right at me, so I backed up to about shin deep and the freaking thing popped up at my feet...

I was changing flies one night before I entered the water and heard some rock move behind me and 2 foot away was a beaver sitting there watching me.....

I was fishing up by the cable and stepped down and something move... I though a rock had slipped... I was inches away from stepping on it tail...

Im scared of those freaking thing... I know they are harmless... but they alway seem to surprise me

for some reason the muskrat dont brother me at all... I see them all the time..

Its just those dang beaver

You know what scares me the most, and will make the hair stand on my neck every time? It is noisy at the outlet, and Leonard has a habit of sneaking up behind me, yelling I think at top of his vocal range, "Rick is that you"? Scares the heck out of me every time. Paybacks Leonard, I am going to buy a stuffed beaver and set it the drivers seat of your car some night.

One night while fishing on a dock mid Taney I had a critter grab my stringer with a couple stockers on it as I raised it from the water. Thing was basically under the dock decking right below my feet. I never saw what it was but that sob was strong... pulled the metal stringer from my hand and ripped a fish off.

Re the run ins with beaver. They don't see well... I've had them darn near swim into the side of my boat.
