I am down here for my annual fall fishing trip.

It was a beautiful day today, however, I got skunked. If anyone can help that would be great. I know that the cold front, blue bird skies and minimal wind did not make things any easier.

Please follow up tonight with any advise.

I threw my entire tackle box today. If it is this bad tomorrow I my throw my tackle box in the lake.

This whole catch and release is crazy...

You all have your heads in the sand. There is a significant mortality rate with C&R. If you think that this is incorrect your silly. The reason that the Rock is more difficult to fish is due to all the tournaments in the last decade. Thousands of fish are caught, hauled in boats all day, and they DIE!!!!

Any one that thinks the bass kill from over a decade ago is why, needs mental help.

Rember when you made this statement?????? Still feel the same way???

lol one time i asked my wife the same thing... she said "you wanna catch fish? tie on a gold hook and a nightcrawler..." (last time i asked her, but didnt want to admit shes right!)

I HAD THE SAME PROBLEM WEDNESDAY FISHED ALL DAY ONLY CAUGHT A FEW SMALL FISH SEEN ALOT OF FISH CHASING BAIT. THURSDAY MORNING I WENT TO BASS PRO SHOPS IN BRANSON WHILE WALKING ALONG THE BOARDWALK NEXT TO LAKE TANEYCOMO I SEEN SEVERAL NICE LARGEMOUTH SO I DECIDED TO PUT IN AT ROCKAWAY BEACH AND FISH THE CREEKS THAT ENTER THE LAKE CAUGHT SEVERAL NICE FISH ONE ABOUT FIVE POUNDS. THE NEXT DAY PUT IN AT COOPERS CREEK AND WENT TO BRANSON LANDING CAUGHT A FEW BASS AND TROUT RIGHT NEXT TO THE FISH HOUSE RESTARNT EVEN WITH THE COLD FRONT. JIGS CRANKBAITS SPINNERBAITS

Dude you have way to much time on your hands and your an idiot. The 20 straight days of bluebird skies and the cold front is why the fish were not active.

I did salvage Saturday and Sunday. Caught 4 keepers. Our group had only 5 other keepers between 6 other boats.

Anyone know what the derby took to win?
