Snow Fly Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 No Luck: Where do we meet and at what time? "God gave fishermen expectancy, so they would never tire of throwing out a line"
NoLuck Posted August 29, 2006 Author Posted August 29, 2006 Snow Fly, I would say we should meet either in the picnic area behind the old millhouse at the spring or in the main parking lot near the hatchery.I'm open to what time we should meet since I believe we will all be arriving at different times. I think a good time would be around 10:30 a.m. if thats OK with everyone. If anyone has better ideas jump right in cause I am not the master of ceremonies. Lets get everyones feedback and we'll decide then. Thanks again. Rich
Wayne SW/MO Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 There's a lot of room in the picnic area north of the whistle, and the parking lot by the swimming pool is generally wide open. Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
gonefishin Posted August 29, 2006 Posted August 29, 2006 Sounds great to me I will plan to be there. I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." Benjamin Franklin, 1759
NoLuck Posted August 29, 2006 Author Posted August 29, 2006 I forgot about the parking lot by the swimming pool. That could be a good spot also. Whats everyone think?
Snow Fly Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 Parking lot by the swimming pool is ok with me and 10:30 AM is ok also I will be down around 9-9:30 am. "God gave fishermen expectancy, so they would never tire of throwing out a line"
gonefishin Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 Parking lot by the swimming pool works for me. I would rather be fishin'. "Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote." Benjamin Franklin, 1759
Kansas Fly Fisher Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 Parking lot at the pool is okay with me. I'll see you guys there at 10:30a.m. John Born to Fish, Forced to Work KSMEDIC.COM
Rusty Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 What about grub. I do believe in eating when fishing. Are we going to grill something, or do we need to BYOF. If we cook, it doesn't need to be a ten course meal. Meat and meat will work for me.
Greg Posted August 30, 2006 Posted August 30, 2006 I wish I could be there. Mondays are tough for me though. Maybe next time, Greg "My biggest worry is that my wife (when I'm dead) will sell my fishing gear for what I said I paid for it" - Koos Brandt Greg Mitchell
