If only Shakespeare were a bass fisherman:

To fish, or not to fish: that is the question:

Whether 'tis nobler in the soul to at least try only to get skunked

Or to sling the blades and shakey-heads of outrageous fortune,

Or to take a creature to oppose against what is hoped to exist a sea of hungry bass.

And by a challenge to fool them? To rise victorious: to exceed beyond an illegal profile;

No more; and no less by a line and morsal to say we end

The heart-ache and the thousand natural of those almost landed

That flesh is heir to, 'tis a consummation

Devoutly to be wish'd upon. To fish or die;

Well I've been hearing some certainly promising news however TR still scares me. Bill was gracious enough to provide some excellent asnwers to some questions I had posted the other day and while I appreciate his efforts, we decided it was too nice to fish successfully so we put it off. I've been watching the weather at http://www.weather.com and it looks like the next 10 days are sunny, mild and little to no wind. This theoretically doesn't sound like good bass fishing. With that said, we are seeing some success on the water and it just baffles me. We live in Springfield proper and to make the run to KC or nearby Aunts, it would be nice to have a little more to go on. But from what I've learned on the forum is that TR is quite a phenomenon all its own. As fickle a lady as they come and not one to easily reveal her secrets, I'm guessing the key no matter what else happens is to get cracking on the water AT dawn and pray for early low fog or some wind to provide some chop. Before I exit, I have one question that I've heard all my life and have used it to fish for everything. Is there any truth to the idea that when the moon is full that fish moved their feeding cycle to middle of the night and middle of the day instead of early morning and late evening?

God is my Pilot! I'm just riding "shotgun".

Book Bill for a day and have him TEACH you. You do not need to catch a lot of fish with him just LISTEN and LEARN. My pard and I did a few times and does it pay off. He's tops. Duck
