Members vandelay Posted October 17, 2011 Members Posted October 17, 2011 Hey all, so who is all coming down this year for Fly Flingers? From KC, it will be myself and Kucharski. The weather looks great and Brian and Ryan have pulled in some nice prizes for the raffle again this year. I'm throwing up 2:1 odds that I leave Alton with a new fly rod again this year! Sorry Superfly!

Brian Sloss Posted October 17, 2011 Posted October 17, 2011 Looks like about a dozen people right now, a little lighter than normal turn out, but a much better chance at one of the rods at the BBQ. Mic, it is an open social event for fly fishers on the Eleven Point where we try to raise a little money for a cause. This year we are trying to raise money for a wader cleaning station at Greer to help prevent didymo from spreading from the White to our river. We fish the Blue ribbon area on Sat (this weekend) and a portion of all canoe rentals and money raised at the following free BBQ raffle will go to the cause. Call if you want to come @ 417-778-6497. www.elevenpointflyfishing.com www.elevenpointcottages.com (417)270-2497
superfly Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 COOK, I would not miss your ceremony of the fly rod for anything. I think Brian is going to give you three fly rods this year. See you on the water. Superfly
