Mark Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 St. Louis is getting a good soaking today (Tuesday). Forecast for Friday/Sat/Sunday looks good for our annual fall trip. I'm sure a little rain won't hurt the river this week. Just wondering if Alton area is getting any rain???
Gavin Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 Go to NOAA.gov and check it out...The water was very low last weekend...a good rain couldnt hurt anything. Hope you have a great trip.
Wayne SW/MO Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 The front moved across all of southern Missouri, but it didn't affect the creeks here. The ground was so dry around here the rains haven't really moved the creeks and rivers that much Today's release is tomorrows gift to another fisherman.
Brian Sloss Posted October 18, 2011 Posted October 18, 2011 I got rained on until about 2 while on the river today. Frankly we need more rain, not less. Today's rain won't do much. We are doing our fly flingers weekend and it won't effect it. www.elevenpointflyfishing.com www.elevenpointcottages.com (417)270-2497
