Members fishbobber Posted January 6, 2012 Members Posted January 6, 2012 I do not find the size much different than up around the Branson area...in both places the ones I catch on jigs or spinners are usually a little bigger than the ones I get on power bait.

[/quote I agree with fish bobber most power bait fish will be "stockers" with the occational nice rainbow. Some of the bigger rainbows I have caught have been on a mico jig under a bobber. Doesn't work all the time but if you see fish surfacing you better tie one on. Night crawlers also work well on rainbows and everything else that swims in the lower end of the lake. If you like to eat suckers you can catch a bunch in a hurry on night crawlers. A lot of fun to catch and in my opinion much better to eat than trout
