ollie Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Got out Sunday morning around 9 and fished till about 12;30. Fished for about an hour until I switched colors for the third time. Olive/brown was the ticket when I landed this bow at the back of a hole. I should say I fished for an hour without any luck until I switched colors for the third time. Caught 3 more bows out of one hole and then caught the largemouth upstream. It was tough at the start and they haven't stocked in awhile it looked like. If you are interested in fishing Capps come on down on the Sunday after Thanksgiving and attend "olliefest". Good fishing and if we ever have enough people attend we will do a lunch. Oh yea, almost forgot the bute I caught with the camera on the way out! "you can always beat the keeper, but you can never beat the post" There are only three things in life that are certain : death, taxes, and the wind blowing at Capps Creek!
Buzz Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 Nice. I had the same trouble figuring out what they would take at Hickory, but when you do it's pretty cool. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
dennis boatman Posted October 25, 2011 Posted October 25, 2011 I guess it's time... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
