flyrodman Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Im trying to find some durable breathable waders for under 150$. Anybody have suggestions? Luke Walz
dgames Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 I have had a pair of the White River Fly Shop ones that were <100 and I have been fine with them. They have seen about 4 or 5 years of pretty heavy use and have kept me dry. I am getting to the point where I am thinking about replacing and would probably buy the same ones again.
flyrodman Posted November 3, 2011 Author Posted November 3, 2011 I have been finding some really cheap Redington CPX waders, anybody have thoughts on those? Luke Walz
Members gwh Posted November 3, 2011 Members Posted November 3, 2011 I bought a pair of Cabela's Premium Dry-Plus® Breathable Stockingfoot waders four years ago. I fish in them at least 60 days a year at Bennett and Tanneycomo. Had a leak in a seam two years ago and they replaced them for free. I see now that they are prices at $159 now, but have got my money out of them. Fish year round and have kept comfortable in them. Two layers in the winter and shorts in the middle of the summer. Have worn out two pairs of felt boots during that time. Sole came loose on one last week at Bennett, will not be replacing with felt.
Trout Commander Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 I have been finding some really cheap Redington CPX waders, anybody have thoughts on those? I haven't had a pair of Redington waders, but all of their other products have met my expectations and their customer service is great. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. The latest Trout Commander blog post: Niangua River Six Pack
Justin Spencer Posted November 3, 2011 Posted November 3, 2011 Redington waders are really good, I've sold a few pairs and people seem to love them. Waiting for my old Simms to wear out, but I will be replacing with CPX.
