WHAT A DAY!

as I got there around 11am... Im guessing they had just shut off the water and the fish were midging like crazy

started with the #8 crackleback.... and just RIPPED them

from the log by outlet 1 down to the rebar... caught 30+

saw a few nice fish in the rebar so I switched over to a big PMS.. caught a couple more...

well it was getting close to 1:30 and the wife was picking me up at 2...

I was going toward the outlet to hang out ....

as I was walking up I was messing around and just tossing into the water... the fish wasnt really eating it but chasing it around (which is fun to watch)...

Then I saw HIM.... HOLY COW!

got in front of him and casted.. to close..

aimed a couple of feet beyond that... and he swims toward it opens his mouth and I set the hook..... MISS!

a minute later he settles back in....

another cast... ITS LOOKING GOOD!!

a little twitch..... KA-PLOW.... ITS ON

A massive head shake.... a HIGH leap.. about 2 minutes later I land myself the biggest brown of 2011...

27in and possible 10lbs... and NO Camera...

*** but Steve for Roaring River was there and saw the fish***

Sorry Leonard, you can't believe a thing Steve from Roaring River says, now if Bob from Roaring River said he saw the brown, I might believe him

He is Steve's handler :)

Way to go Leonard. That's a nice fish.

If fishing was easy it would be called catching.

Atta boy Leonard! You're a talented Trout teaser.

The only good line is a tight line
