David Unnerstall Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 It's amazing how many Illinois lakes are closer to St. Louis than any other lake in Missouri. I need to get that canoe to Coffeen or Washington County Lake.
Thom Posted December 1, 2011 Posted December 1, 2011 Devil's kitchen and little grassy both have excellent bluegill fishing. Is on NWR land, so it takes a parking sticker/boat sticker, but it is worth it. If you are over 65 you can get a lifetime onetime card and the daily tags are free. Still need out of state fishing permit if you are not IL resident. Check it out at the national wildlife office or website. I purchased one when at south padre Island area and to fish for reds and trout and have used it several times since. Just check in locally when you are on National land. Thom Harvengt
