Members tbooks Posted November 19, 2011 Members Posted November 19, 2011 Fished the dam area today.water temp 58-59f. ended day with 10 fish with 5 being keepers. All nice smalls except one Kent. One of smalls was diseased real bad had several cankers over his body and missing dorsal fin and bloody?? Fish seemed to be half way back in bays or cuts in 10-15'. All on jigs except 2 on grubs. Two eagles sighted. Beautiful day despite the wind. "Why would you want to be anyway else"
abkeenan Posted November 19, 2011 Posted November 19, 2011 Those 2 bald eagles have a nest on the point just north of 86 state park where that flat transitions to rock ledge/bluff wall. Saw the two of them everyday at that same location when I was down last weekend. Always cool to see those birds in the wild.
