Duck hunting sucked!!!! 0 birds and i dont mean i didnt get 0 i mean I saw 0 as did 10 other parties i talked to. All of us were in disbelief, Thursday there were rafts of 1000;s of birds and today NONE.

Gave up any serious duck hunting by 10am and swithced to Stripers { with the gun on deck of course } Gun didnt get used but Prairie Creek is still red hot for stripers and the bigger jobs are in for sure. 14 Stripers 12 hybrids { up to 10 pnds } and 4 whites. Key for big stripers is BIG Bait and it is easy to get right now. Freeline the bait 100ft behind the boat and hold on.

Wind was insane again today never letting up bt did not matter.

Sorry to hear about the ducks. Wife and I went fishing for a while today. The PC area is just loaded with shad balls and bass of every kind. Caught the black bass pretty good for a couple of hours and headed in. She got the biggest one, which I'm happy about. Always nice to see her have fun fishing.

Yes it is loaded. Stripers were on the North Shore today off the old road bed. Caught a couple nice LMB as well. Trick was to stay on the edges of the big bait balls, Sidescan works great for doing that.
