What are your favorite flies for catching Brown Trout at Taney and/or Bennett Springs?

I would rather be fishin'.

I can't tell you what will work real well there but I can tell you that Brown Torut seem to like the colors of Yellow and Brown real well. At least just about everywere I have fished for them it seems to work well. Brown and Yellow in a streamer or Wolly Bugger is great. Or a Brown Leach pattern is good to. I tie some brown and yellow poppers that I use here and do well on. That is a fly that people do not use much for trout they think that poppers are just for Bass LOL. Not so. Ask the late Joe Brooks. He caught an #18 pound Brown Trout on one. ;) They work. As do brown colored mice. Ron

If your sight fishing, go with something small. If your not sight fishing, I'd try sculpin, minnow, or rainbow trout type streamers. Rapala's work well too..Cheers.
