Is Camp Ground 1 Open

My fall fishing has been cut short this year due to mom's battle with cancer. After all the radiation and Chimo I may have a window of opportunity after Christmas. I've been so busy that I haven't even been lurking on this site.

Was wondering if CG1 is open again this year for Catch and Release campers??

Hi Pat,

It was for the opening weekend of C&R. Saw several campers there. Website says open yr round. No water hookups though. I'm hoping to hit BSSP another time yet this year as well. Another 50 degree day and I'll head that way. Small stuff was working probably still is. Looks like the Suzy hole and above has some Smallie action as well. Hope all is well and your mom recovers.

Sorry about the bad news. If I get home for X- Mas I may try to get my brother to get down there for a day. I was planning on making it down before I left for Hoover Dam but that went out the window. I am thinking we will leave out here the 22nd I think, and come back after the 1st of the year. Let me know when you are going down and we may try to meet up.

Unless it is brutally cold I will be down the Monday after X-Mas day. We fly back this Thursday afternoon and I may even hit it Friday too. I think we have to be back out here the 3rd of Jan so I will go down with my bro on the 30th too. Hope you can make it down.
