What is your layering system for wading around the trout parks?

A real important item is to take a change of everything you intend to wear that day. Case in point was the fall I took at meramec 2 weeks ago. It was 33 degrees and a half hour into my trip. The day would have been ruined without extra gear.

With most of the trout water in Missouri close the same temperature all year around I just wear a pair of sweatpants under my waders (breathables) and have always been comfortable. I layer up with a sweatshirt and then water proof wading jacket, hat, and gloves (2-3 pair of jerseys gloves work the best for me). As Laker stated a change of clothes is import in you case you take a dip. Often I am warmer in the water that out of the water.
