I'm headed down the day after tomorrow... Probably will mostly fish Parker Hollow, maybe a little at Baptist too depending on how things go. I haven't been down in awhile, been too busy hunting as well as doing other less enjoyable stuff, so I'm pretty clueless as to how it's fishing. General consensus based on what I've been reading seems that it's been pretty tough though. Have you all been having any success on egg patterns, or is the water just too low for that? If not what else have they been hitting on?

Even if it is tough it'll still be worth the trip. I sure do miss the Current.

I'm far from an expert on trout fishing, but we just floated Baptist to Akers a few days ago. One of the local guys told us it's been a long time since he's seen the water lapping against the concrete wall at Baptist. Of course, I have no idea what that means, but that may give you some perspective of the level.

The river's actually up from the recent rains. Warm weather should help the bite. It will be sunny though. Good luck and hopefully I'll have some, also heading down on Friday.

1.1' on the Akers guage is about as low as it gets...its flowing at 1.75' with a 1/4" of rain in the forecast for Saturday. Warm Weather Saturday & Sunday too. Should be in great shape this weekend. Y'all have fun.
