Buzz Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 I just found this website http://www.fishouflageapparel.com/ I haven't heard anyone talk about it so I thought I'd post a link. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
FishinCricket Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 They might think it looks cool, but it isn't the kind of "camo" you'd want on a stream.. If anything you'd want to wear colors that match the sky or the water or something... But I frankly don't think it matters.. My fishin pants are bright red (hopefully fading to a mild pink soon).. cricket.c21.com
laker67 Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 In my upcoming book, I talk some about camoflage. I have always held to the theory that you should match your background as if the fish are looking through you. In addition to moving slowly and making as little commotion as possible, you need to blend in. Take a few minutes on your next outing, and watch a blue heron walking the shoreline. Same holds true when fishing at night. Match your background.
Buzz Posted December 30, 2011 Author Posted December 30, 2011 I just like camo. The fish in it is just a bonus. Personally, I believe your shadow is your worst enemy on a stream. If fishing was easy it would be called catching.
