miket Posted January 7, 2012 Posted January 7, 2012 “Big Bama” & “Little Bama”.. new members of the Alabama Umbrella Rig family and hand crafted by www.jigs4bass.com . Features to include: *.041 bright stainless steel wire *Duo Lock #3 snaps with a weight rating of 40 pounds each. I use these instead of snap swivels to “discourage” twisting of attached baits. *The head is cast from high impact plastic to lighten the over all bait. The 5 wire weighs in at .4 oz’s and the 3 wire at .3 oz’s *The head has 3D eyes and is airbrushed and then sealed with a two part epoxy for shine and overall durability *Head length is 1 ¾ inches, wire length is 6 ¼ inches for a total overall length of 8 inches Currently the head pattern comes in “Shad” but keep checking back as new head patterns are added. THE 3 WIRE IS "MISSOURI LEGAL". Only $12.99 !! Thanks Mike www.jigs4bass.com
oneshot Posted January 17, 2012 Posted January 17, 2012 Not really interested but asked few years ago about number of Hooks and was told could have 33 if I thought I could handle them.Just saying I think you are allowed alot more than 3. oneshot
DChance Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 nope, 3 wire rig is what is legal in MO. some are using 5 wire with 2 of the wires containing dummy baits with no hook or spinner blades.
Members OneLung Posted January 28, 2012 Members Posted January 28, 2012 I have a couple of these rigs. One 5-wire and one 3-wire. There's no doubt they work, but they kind of take the fun out of Bass fishing. What I would like to see is a miniature version of this rig designed to catch crappie. It could come in handy when I want to catch several of them fast to cook-up for dinner.
Members FLYFISHINMAN Posted January 30, 2012 Members Posted January 30, 2012 Any idea what the limit is in Illinois?
