whoa! What a flock of DRAKES! Good to see a nice flock of bluebills after all the bad news surrounding them the last few years. Beautiful capture

I dont put much stock in the bird counts and population numbers of Divers, they are a hard bird to spot from the air let alone get accurate counts of. I was reading an article a few years back where a winter count on Catahoula and Mississippi Pools 7 8 9 were conducted within the same week and the numbers were close to 1.5 million Cans, That tells me there are probably alot more cans then USFW suggest.

Cool pic. Haven't seen very many around here, upper Bull Shoals, in the last few years. Did shoot a few up around Golden City about a month ago.
