Thanks. In addition to my GoPro, I also have a 6mp Cannon with an underwater case.

What camera did you go with? How's it working?

I went with a Panasonic Lumix TS3. Its working out great so far. i cant wait til it warms up more and I can really use it. I kept having these fears of dunking my SLR in the water. I was going to get an underwater case for it but the good cases are $1000 and a bag is ~$130 but they can wear out. So dedicated camera it ws. Its not as good as my SLR but it definitly works. We'll have to get together sometime and go do some video/photo/fishing nonsense

Nice! Checked it out on-line and it looks like a sweet camera.

I'd def be up to do some fishing. Funny story-yesterday I went to the Current to do some fishing/recording with my GoPro. Battled and landed a gorgeous 20" brown only to find out that I wasn't recording! I was LIVID man. Anyway, I'm prob heading back this week for redemption. I'll let you know when in case you want to join.

It's the flat lens from eyeofmine.com. The out of water shots look pretty good. I stopped using it so much out of water though, because it gets scratched so easily.

I looked at the flat lenses but I don't want to compromise the OOW quality and wide angle. The only way I would do the flat lens kit is if I had a housing for under water and one for OOW. That would be too much of a hassle though.

I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted.

I use both and it's not that bad to switch the housings. You could, however, just use the flat lens for OOW and underwater. I used the flat lens to record all of my youtube videos except "Current River Highlights" and the video quality seems fine. I switch housings only to avoid water spots and keep scratches off.
