stone9-7=2 Posted September 10, 2006 Posted September 10, 2006 Well first night was pretty much a bust, tried depth's from 70' to 30' & only caught 8 crappie, only real small shad thank god for minnows & shinners. 2nd night moved down lake a little & fishing was better ended the night with 22 crappie & 2 walleyes 19" long. shad were still small but there were a few good one's which is what my brother cauhgt the eyes on, in the 40' range. 3rd night i caught 2 crappie while my dad & brother caught a total of 30 crappies & 2 walleye each + a catfish wasn't my night. those fish came where the water dropped from 40' to 65', caught a few more shad only the eyes came off of them. Water temp was 81 degres still to warm for the shad to come all the way to the top. Next week my son will go with me & will see if it's any better, will post agin. 9-7=2

stone9-7=2 Posted September 10, 2006 Author Posted September 10, 2006 It runs in & out if you have the border license you can fish both. Phil has a map of the horseshoe bend area on the form under lake maps i think. 9-7=2.
