New Audio Fishing Reports

Starting today, Ozarkanglers.com will offer audio fishing reports.

Bill tested the system out today and it works great. Running it through a Vontage account, guides will leave voice mails on my number, then I'll upload and post them.

I'm hoping to attract fishing guides who don't like to mess with typing and posting.

The reports will be posted on the main site only, not on the forum. When they're posted on the main site, they'll also be posted on facebook, linkedin and twitter, referring back to the main posting.

We think we worked out all the bugs in the system so we should start seeing more, or hearing more fishing reports very soon.

I am sorry to say that I am not computer savy enough to be able to receive Mr. Bablers audio reports on the main site. Would you please take the time to explain to me what I need to do to upgrade my computer so that I may listen?

I was unable to listen using Google Chrome as my browser, but I opened the link in Internet Explorer and had no problems.

Cap'n, for starters, open Internet Explorer, click Tools, then Windows Update. Let the update process run.

The reports are uploaded as a simple .wav file which should play without error if you're running a current version of Windows Media Player or Quicktime. If Windows Update doesn't fix your problem, try downloading and installing Quicktime from Apples website.

Crome will not play .wav audio. All the other browsers should - firefox, explorer, safari.

For those of us with Android phones or tablets, the option to open the wav file with google's "music" app pops up when you click on the link. Works just fine. If you're on a windows computer use Explorer as they said before.
