Brian Wise Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Hey guys, Next up is the Bottoms Up. This fly is probably the most original and under-rated of all of Galloup's articulated streamers. The rear hook has 2 foam popper heads in it, while the front hook has lead eyes....literally making this fly stand on it's head, completely vertical. Just as good (if not better) for smallmouth as it is trout. Hope you enjoy..... My Youtube Channel
Trout Commander Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 I like the fly almost as much as the music. I've been perusing the creative commons websites for the classics remixed as dubstep and digging them a LOT lately. I have spent most of my money on fly fishing and beer. The rest I just wasted. Brian Wise Posted January 30, 2012 Author Posted January 30, 2012 Nice! I am always on the lookout for stuff like that. Do you have any links? My Youtube Channel
mic Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 What is the black cord that connects the two flies?
Justin Spencer Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Has to be a killer fly for deep pools around boulders. Love the music and hate to criticize but how did you pass up this song for the bottoms up, maybe a version 2 in order? Trout Commander Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Nice! I am always on the lookout for stuff like that. Do you have any links? Go to www.soundcloud.com and search for any song you want and dubstep ( ie Twinkle Twinkle Litle Star Dubstep). Fair warning, there will be a ton of results and lots of duplicates. Also some are a lot more dubstep than the one you used but I have found some that are in the sweet spot as far as original song/dubstep ratio goes that I plan to use in some of my weak GoPto videos if I can ever get out and get some footage. I completely missed the mark on that one Justin. You know what is even more cool than you calling me out on that? Your WIFE called me out on that before you did! My Youtube Channel
Brian Wise Posted January 30, 2012 Author Posted January 30, 2012 What is the black cord that connects the two flies? It is beading wire called Beadalon. Mine is a little on the thick side but the small stuff freaks me out for some stupid reason. My Youtube Channel

Justin Spencer Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Mic I've used heavy mono to tie mine, and would like to try heavy spiderwire braid. I did hear it needs to probably be 80# braid however, as evidently 30# will eventually frey leaving you with Bottoms on the surface floating down the river.
