Flysmallie Posted January 30, 2012 Posted January 30, 2012 Don't tell her I said her mind was great. Don't worry. I'm sure if she is like my wife she already knows that.
rfd515 Posted January 31, 2012 Posted January 31, 2012 Awesome. I like the underwater video of the actual fly as much as the tutorial (a lot).
Brian Wise Posted January 31, 2012 Author Posted January 31, 2012 Awesome. I like the underwater video of the actual fly as much as the tutorial (a lot). That is actually what started this whole thing. I wanted to show people what really cool streamers looked like from the point-ov-view of....a fish. The tying was really an afterthought. Members Yr4m2 Posted May 7, 2014 Members Posted May 7, 2014 First off thank you B-wise! Your videos have inspired this newbie to create some great lucking flies. I'm having tons of fun in the process. Quick question... The perspective of the video is great but being new, it's difficulty to tell the sizes of certain things. As I am new to passion of fly tying/fishing, I'm trying to get the proportions of things right but still learning. What size are the lead eyes and the poppers that you are using for the B10s 1 and 2 hooks? Thank you in advance, Tight lines...
Brian Wise Posted May 16, 2014 Author Posted May 16, 2014 Thanks! I usually use Medium Sized Lead Eyes for all of the Galloup Patterns. The Popper Heads kind of depend on the manufacturer, but the ones in the video are Medium as well. My Youtube Channel
