Sore Thumbs Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 The guys at hook line and sinker can't keep swimmin flukes in stock. Zoom can't keep up with demand right now. Reaction Innovations little dippers are the same way. Crazy how this rig has affected the industry.

It looks like the rig will not be allowed in the Mill Creek tourneys! Joe took a poll, and the rig was shot down overwhelmingly. I was elated to hear of this. roy_eros Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 I keep hearing of clubs and tournament organizations banning these rigs or banning multiple lures altogether... I'm not opposed to this and I think any group of anglers has the right to make there own decisions, my question is going to be is this just going to allow for more cheating in these tournament? Say somebody wins 3 or 4, is it going to turn into everybody saying well they must be throwing an a-rig? I understand why tournaments are considering this ban I just wonder if the positives outweigh the negatives..

Some body wins 3-4 there will always be those whinners that complain about cheating, with or without the arig.

I can only speak for the Mill Creek Friday Night Series, but there won't be any real issues with cheating or accusations of cheating. In some of the other tourney series' with a less tightly knit bunch of guys... who knows. Jason Essary Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Whackem, Im with you, the main thing I want is if they take it out of my hands, they better make sure that they take it out of everyones hands. I will be trying it later in the spring to see how it does in the dark with a couple things. If they cant control it, then we will need to start checking up on people better. Gone Fishing Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 I have heard people say no matter if the ban it or not they are using it anyway b/c its legal. The way I look at it is if someone is using the rig in a tourny like yours they might as well be using live bait. It is also legal but against tourny rules. The same goes for using 5 hooks. It is just as much breaking the law as dropping a stick of dynomite to get your fish.
